The Best High Alpine Lake to Enjoy During The Summer!

If you’re looking for an epic place to walk on the beach, skip rocks or watch the sunset, Lake Dillon is the place! Located between Frisco, Breckenridge and Silverthorne Colorado this tranquil spot has epic views and it’s free! Parking is super easy and most beaches are accessible by a short walk. The water levels of the lake are constantly changing because it is a reservoir. So, if you wan’t to plan your session let’s make sure the level is nice and full to get some epic photos like these ones!

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT: May-September.

Personally I love to just hangout on the beach with a blanket and a good book but there are also so many fun activities to enjoy on the lake as well. You’ll see people paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing or cruising around on a fun pontoon boat soaking in the sun. Check out the Frisco Bay Marina for rentals.
