Jason and Hannah chose a Lodge at Breckenridge wedding because it embodied everything they love about living in Colorado—mountains, crisp air, and views that do all the heavy lifting for you. And honestly, Breckenridge showed off big time. The aspens were glowing, the sky was clear, and by the end of the night, the sunset was the cherry on top. Their ceremony on the deck kept things simple. There is truly no need for extras when you’ve already got a backdrop like that.

Their story goes back to Hannah’s last year of college, when they first met and basically never looked back. They’ve been together since 2017, building a life that revolves around time outside—hiking, snowboarding, or just hanging with their two labs, Shadow and Tiller. Their relationship isn’t about big, dramatic gestures—it’s about the everyday stuff that feels good when you’re with the right person. Choosing to celebrate in the mountains wasn’t just a nice backdrop; it was a reflection of how they live and what matters most to them.

The entire day carried an easy energy, with an atmosphere where people could relax and enjoy themselves. Friends and family traveled in from all over, making the celebration more of a long weekend hangout than a single-day event. This Breckenridge wedding venue made it easy for everyone to stay connected—gathering on the deck, catching up over meals, and then jumping right onto the dance floor later that night. There was plenty of laughter, a little happy chaos, and a sense that everyone was genuinely glad to be there. For Jason and Hannah, that was the whole point: to celebrate surrounded by their people, in a place that was just so beautiful.

For Hannah, photography was about more than just posed portraits—it was about preserving the emotions of the day. From candid moments between loved ones to the joy that radiated during the party, every photograph aimed to capture the laughter, tears, and love that defined their celebration. It was my goal to balance those real, in-between moments with the sweeping mountain views they cared so much about. With the peaks in the background and the sunset painting the sky, the photos tell the story of a wedding that was both personal and visually stunning.

“Lizzy has been an absolute dream to work with. She is a warm and calm presence and made us feel at home and comfortable in front of the camera and throughout our big day. She helped guide me through what we would need for our wedding timeline and was an expert at getting all the shots we could ask for and even the ones we didn’t think of! I was overjoyed with every picture she gave us and it was amazing to have a preview gallery for each of our shoots. We can’t wait to work with her again!”
